Requirements for Master Black Belt Trainer/Coach certification

• Signing a legal agreement and non-disclosure agreement with the Pyzdek Institute
• Successful completion of all course lessons, assignments, and quizzes
• Passing a comprehensive exam covering the Six Sigma Black Belt body of knowledge and The Pyzdek Institute approach to process excellence
• Passing a live oral exam by a Pyzdek Institute certification board
• Successfully presenting a project of significant scope that utilizes the Six Sigma approach and toolkit
• Proof of prior Six Sigma Black Belt certification by a recognized source
• Evidence of significant practical experience applying the Six Sigma approach

Pyzdek Institute Certified Master Black Belts have access to The Pyzdek Institute's training resources, subject to the terms of the legal agreement. For specified fees, they can use Pyzdek Institute resources to provide training to clients and/or employees of their employers. Those of their students who successfully complete Pyzdek Institute training are eligible to pursue Pyzdek Institute certification.

Candidates must submit a copy of a government issued photo ID (confidential numbers and other information can be obscured.) The photograph and your certification information will be maintained in a publicly available database on The Pyzdek Institute's web site for use by employers and others to whom you provide access information. There is no time limit on when you complete your certification. Repeated exam attempts are allowed for an additional fee. (No two exams are alike.)

Coaching by Thomas Pyzdek is included in this package

Thomas Pyzdek will guide and assist you with your Master Black Belt training. In addition to email access, your coach will meet with you live via online and phone meetings at convenient intervals to discuss course topics, quiz results, etc. He will grade and comment upon assignments and exercises. Your coach will also work with you to maintain discipline in moving steadily through the training to your final goal.
